hat happens when you combine assorted pieces of tack, a fire hydrant, a parking meter, a small cannon, old license plates, and a patriotically painted ram's skull with a rodeo arena, a restaurant, and a bar and drop them in the middle of the desert?

hat happens when a restaurant holds the record for the longest, continuous bull-riding contest in the United States?

hat happens when people dressed in business suit conservatism mingle with laid back patrons whose T-shirts read things like "Hard Rockin-Rodeo"?

os Amigos provides an adventurous and fun atmosphere for people of all ages. Rick & Nute Purcell, the owners of Dos Amigos, say, "Give me anyone, a two year old or a 72 year old, and I'll have them walking out of here amused, fascinated, and smiling."

os has been the proud host of many performers, such as Willie Nelson, Robert Earl Keen, Jason Boland, David Allen Coe, Charlie Robison, Blue October, Bob Wills' Texas Playboys, Joe King Carrasco, Joe Ely, Asleep at the Wheel, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Delbert McClinton, Gary P. Nunn, B.W. Stephenson, Alvin Crow, Jerry Jeff Walker, Tracy Byrd, Robert Palmer, and Vallejo, just to name a few.

os Amigos has been hosting bull-riding contests every other Sunday from April to October for nearly 2 decades. Dos Amigos has also sponsored several annual events such as the Stan Ham Memorial Bull Ride and Bullfight.

As fun as the bull riding at Dos Amigos, the food is also what's made Dos Amigos a local legend in Midland/Odessa. The dinner menu centers on what Dos Amigos does best--Tex-Mex classics such as burritos, enchiladas, fajitas, and nachos. While green enchiladas made with fresh green chilies are the house specialty, Dos Amigos guarantees the Deluxe Nachos to please.
